about

Totolag village, Mota Lava

Jerol delivers a story written after the visit of a political group that visited all the islands of Banks, talking about Vanuatu becoming independent. They visited Mota Lava and they talked about the value of independence and the culture unique to the islands of the northern Torba Province. They felt that these talks about independence matched the cultural values of Mota Lava so they wrote this song about Fr Water Lini and about how the raising of the Vanuatu flag lifts up their identity to be strong.
